  Senate File 2340

  On motion of Senator Tinsman, Senate File 2340, a bill for an act
  encouraging school districts to establish volunteer programs that
  utilize retired teachers and administrators as volunteer mentors and
  aides, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Connolly asked and received unanimous consent that
  action on Senate File 2340 be deferred.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  Senate Files 2330, 2329, 2342, and 2313 be immediately
  messaged to the House.

  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 1:53 p.m.,
  until 4:00 p.m.
