MR. SPEAKER: The Chief Clerk of the House respectfully reports
that the following committee recommendations have been received
and are on file in the office of the Chief Clerk.

COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS
Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 784), relating to and making
appropriations from the rebuild Iowa infrastructure fund to state departments and
agencies, including the department for the blind, the department of corrections, the
department of cultural affairs, the department of economic development, the
department of general services, the judicial branch, the department of public safety,
the state board of regents, the state department of transportation, the office of
treasurer of state, and the commission of veterans affairs, creating an environment
first fund and making appropriations from that fund for environmental purposes,
making related Code language changes, and providing effective dates.
Fiscal Note is not required.
Recommended Amend and Do Pass April 11, 2000.
Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 785), relating to public expenditure
and regulatory matters, making appropriations, and establishing a Microsoft
settlement fund.
Fiscal Note is not required.

COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION
Committee Bill (Formerly House File 2566), relating to eligibility for United
States armed forces retired special motor vehicle license plates.
