CONSIDERATION OF HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 117

Brauns of Muscatine called up for consideration House Concurrent
Resolution 117, a concurrent resolution establishing a special
commission to study and make recommendations concerning the
impact of current and future state replacement funds paid to local
governments to mitigate the effects of the elimination of the property
tax on industrial machinery, equipment, and computers.

SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 113 SUBSTITUTED
FOR HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 117

Brauns of Muscatine asked and received unanimous consent to
substitute Senate Concurrent Resolution 113 for House Concurrent
Resolution 117.

Senate Concurrent Resolution 113, a concurrent resolution
establishing a special commission to study and make recom-
mendations concerning the impact of current and future state
replacement funds paid to local governments to mitigate the effects of
the elimination of the property tax on industrial machinery,
equipment, and computers, and moved its adoption.

The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
