Henry in the chair.

Prayer was offered by Becky Lorenz, executive secretary to the
Speaker of the House.

The Journal of Thursday, March 23, 2000 was approved.

INTRODUCTION OF BILL

House File 2554, by committee on appropriations, a bill for an act
relating to and making appropriations to the judicial branch.

Read first time and placed on the appropriations calendar.

On motion by Hansen of Pottawattamie the House adjourned at
9:25 a.m., until 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 27, 2000.
