On motion by Grundberg of Polk amendment H-8372, as amended,
lost.
Mascher of Johnson offered the following amendment H-8377,
previously deferred, to amendment H-8162, filed by her from the floor
and moved its adoption:

1 Amend the amendment, H-8162, to House File 2229 as
2 follows:
3 1. Page 1, by striking lines 23 through 28 and
4 inserting the following: "performance of an
5 abortion."
6 2. Page 3, by striking lines 36 through 40, and
7 inserting the following: "an abortion is necessary."
A non-record roll call was requested.
The ayes were 33, nays 45.
Amendment H-8377 lost.
