Siegrist in the chair.
Prayer was offered by Speaker Siegrist.
The Journal of Thursday, March 2, 2000 was approved.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House File 2534, by committee on judiciary, a bill for an act
relating to electronic communications constituting the crime of
harassment.
Read first time and placed on the calendar.
House File 2535, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an
act relating to the allocation to Iowa of income earned by an S
corporation for purposes of the state individual income tax and
including a retroactive applicability date provision.
Read first time and placed on the ways and means calendar.
MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE
The following messages were received from the Senate:
Mr. Speaker: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the Senate has on
March 2, 2000, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is
asked:
Senate File 2078, a bill for an act relating to the definition of theft.
Also: That the Senate has on March 2, 2000, passed the following bill in which the
concurrence of the House is asked:
Senate File 2265, a bill for an act to provide an additional sentence of parole or
work release for certain persons who commit the crime of lascivious acts with a child.
