Prayer was offered by Reverend Tim Nappe, pastor of the First
Lutheran Church, Milford.
The Journal of Thursday, February 17, 2000 was approved.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Linn-Mar SODA Group
(Students O.K. Without Drugs and Alcohol) from Linn-Mar High
School, Marion.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Leave of absence was granted as follows:

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House File 2351, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an
act relating to a sales and use tax exemption for the sales of clothing
and footwear for a limited time period annually and including an
effective date.
