CONSIDERATION OF BILL (Ways and Means Calendar) Senate File 471 On motion of Senator Johnson, Senate File 471, a bill for an act directing the department of revenue and finance to submit a proposal to simplify the Iowa individual income tax, was taken up for consideration. Senator Johnson moved that the bill be read the last time now and placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the bill was read the last time. On the question "Shall the bill pass?" Senate File 476 On motion of Senator McLaren, Senate File 476, a bill for an act relating to financial assistance for air transportation expansion and infrastructure and making an appropriation, was taken up for consideration. Senator McLaren offered amendment S-3482 filed by him from the floor, to page 1 of the bill and moved its adoption. Amendment S-3482 was adopted by a voice vote.
