The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to. IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Concurrent Resolution 17 and House Files 296 and 532 be immediately messaged to the House. LEAVE OF ABSENCE Leave of absence was granted as follows: Senator McKean until he arrives, on request of Senator Tinsman. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up for consideration Senate Concurrent Resolution 18. Senate Concurrent Resolution 18 On motion of Senator Fink, Senate Concurrent Resolution 18, a concurrent resolution requesting the Department of Education to cooperate with the Iowa Arts Council in administering a contest for students to submit design proposals for Iowa's participation in the United States Mint's 50 state quarters program, was taken up for consideration. Senator Fink moved adoption of Senate Concurrent Resolution 18, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. WITHDRAWN Senator Drake asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Concurrent Resolution 13 be withdrawn from further consideration of the Senate.
