  Senator Iverson called up the appointment of William Brand, as
  Administrator of the Division of Community Action Agencies, placed
  on the Individual Confirmation Calendar on April 6, 1999, and found
  on page 974 of the Senate Journal.

  Senator Miller moved that the foregoing appointment be confirmed
  by the Senate.

  On the question "Shall the appointee be confirmed?" the vote was:

  on page 893 of the Senate Journal.
