  provisions, and amendment S-3128 by Senators Jensen, et al., to pages 1-5 of
  the bill, deferred March 23, 1999.

  Senator King asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw amendment
  S-3162 filed by him from the floor to amendment
  S-3148.

  Senator Jensen offered amendment S-3148 filed by Senators Jensen and
  Gronstal on March 24, 1999, striking everything after
  the enacting clause of the bill and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-3148 was adopted by a voice vote.

  With the adoption of amendment S-3148, the Chair ruled amendment S-3128,
  filed by Senators Jensen, et al., on
  March 23, 1999, to pages 1-5 of the bill, out of order.

  Senator Jensen moved that the bill be read the last time now and placed upon
  its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice
  vote, and the bill was read the last time.
