  have passed the Senate and the title, as amended, was agreed to.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  Senate File 203 be immediately messaged to the House.

  INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS

  Senator Szymoniak introduced a group of exchange students from
  Kofu First High School, Kofu, Japan, who are attending Hoover High
  School in Des Moines.  The students were accompanied by Judy
  Renoux and Takahito Takesa.

  President pro tempore Redfern took the chair at 10:12 a.m.

  CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
  (Ways and Means Calendar)

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for consideration Senate Files 305 and 308.

  Senate File 305

  On motion of Senator McKibben, Senate File 305, a bill for an act
  relating to the payment by a county of the family farm tax credit and
  reimbursement to the county of its payment and including an
  effective date, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator McKibben moved that the bill be read the last time now
  and placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote,
  and the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 305), the vote was:
