Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent 
that House File 723 be deferred and that the bill retain its place on 
the calendar. (Amendment H-1227 and amendment H-1274, to 
amendment H-1227, pending.)
House File 741, a bill for an act relating to the authorization 
requirements for psychiatric medical institutions for children and 
providing an effective date, was taken up for consideration.
