LEAVE OF ABSENCE Leave of absence was granted as follows: Siegrist of Pottawattamie and Speaker Corbett on request of Rants of Woodbury. INTRODUCTION OF BILLS House File 625, by committee on education, a bill for an act relating to teacher shortage areas and the board of educational examiners, establishing a teacher shortage forgivable loan and fund, providing for teacher recruitment and preparation, and a task force to study the use of retired professionals as mentors and teacher aides, making an appropriation, and providing an effective date. Read first time and referred to committee on appropriations.
