	The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such com-

mittee Foege of Linn, Larson of Linn and Taylor of Linn.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 4
Rants of Woodbury offered the following House Memorial Resolu-
tion 4 and moved its adoption:
HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 4
Whereas, The Honorable Willis Junker, of Woodbury 
County, Iowa, who was a member of the Sixty-fifth, Sixty-
sixth, Sixty-seventh and Sixty-seventh Extra general 
assemblies, passed away April 29, 1998; Now Therefore,
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, That 
a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker of the 
House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his 
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such com-
mittee Rants of Woodbury, Klemme of Plymouth and Warnstadt of 
Woodbury.

Drees of Carroll offered the following House Memorial Resolution 5 
and moved its adoption:
HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 5
Whereas, The Honorable Carroll A. Lane, of Carroll, 
Iowa, who was a member of the Fiftieth, Fiftieth Extra and 
Fifty-first general assemblies, passed away October 5, 1995; 
Now Therefore,
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, That 
a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker of the 
House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his 
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such 
committee Drees of Carroll, Carroll of Poweshiek and Whitead of 
Woodbury.
