HOUSE STUDY BILL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS

H.S.B. 217  Ways and Means
Relating to the good faith required of the seller in accepting an 
exemption certificate under the state sales tax.
H.S.B. 218  Commerce and Regulation
Relating to the restructuring of the electric utility industry by 
providing for consumer choice for certain electric services, providing 
penalties, and providing an effective date.
H.S.B. 219  Judiciary
Establishing the crime of consumer fraud against an older person and 
providing penalties.
H.S.B. 220  Human Resources
Relating to dependent adult abuse.
H.S.B. 221  Environmental Protection
Relating to a watershed protection task force and creating a water-
shed protection program and a watershed protection account within 
the water protection fund.
H.S.B. 222  State Government
Relating to elections and voter registration by enacting provisions 
relating to election misconduct and providing criminal penalties, to 
voter registration deadlines and voter registration by mail, to written 
summaries of proposed constitutional amendments or of certain other 
public measures, and to absentee voting and requirements and 
prohibitions related to receiving, handling, and delivering absentee 
ballots, and including effective date and applicability date provisions.
H.S.B. 223  Labor and Industrial Relations
Providing for drug testing of public sector employees.
