PAG LIN 1 1 Section 1. Section 317.1, subsection 1, Code 1999, is 1 2 amended to read as follows: 1 3 1. Primary noxious weeds, which shall include quack grass 1 4 (Agropyron repens), perennial sow thistle (Sonchus arvensis), 1 5 Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense), bull thistle (Cirsium 1 6 lanceolatum), European morning glory or field bindweed 1 7 (Convolvulus arvensis), horse nettle (Solanum carolinense), 1 8 leafy spurge (Euphorbia esula), perennial pepper-grass 1 9 (Lepidium draba), marijuana (Cannabis sativa), Russian 1 10 knapweed (Centaurea repens), buckthorn (Rhamnus, not to 1 11 include Rhamnus frangula, and all other species of thistles 1 12 belonging in genera of Cirsium and Carduus.). 1 13 EXPLANATION 1 14 This bill declares marijuana (Cannabis sativa) to be a 1 15 primary noxious weed. 1 16 LSB 3086SC 78 1 17 tj/cf/24
