1 1 Section 1. There is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa
1 2 infrastructure fund to the department of corrections for the
1 3 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001,
1 4 the following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to
1 5 be used for the purpose designated:
1 6 To supplement funds appropriated in 1998 Iowa Acts, chapter
1 7 1219, section 2, subsection 3, for construction of a 200-bed
1 8 facility at the Iowa state penitentiary at Fort Madison:

1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill appropriates funds from the rebuild Iowa
1 12 infrastructure fund to the department of corrections for
1 13 construction of a 200-bed facility at the Iowa state
1 14 penitentiary at Fort Madison.
