1 1 Section 1. STATE BOARD OF REGENTS. There is appropriated
1 2 from the general fund of the state to the state board of
1 3 regents for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending
1 4 June 30, 2001, the following amount, or so much thereof as is
1 5 necessary, to be used for the purpose designated:
1 6 For allocation to the state university of Iowa for purposes
1 7 of the accredited school of public health and the initiative
1 8 for the health and independence of elderly Iowans:
1 9 .................................................. $ 2,750,000
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill appropriates moneys to the state board of regents
1 12 from the general fund of the state for fiscal year 2000-2001
1 13 for purposes of providing a second year of funding for the
1 14 school of public health and public health initiative at the
1 15 university of Iowa.
