1 1 Section 1. There is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa
1 2 infrastructure fund to the department of natural resources for
1 3 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30,
1 4 2001, the following amount, or so much thereof as is
1 5 necessary, to be used for the purpose designated,
1 6 notwithstanding section 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph "c":
1 7 To increase the number of wastewater construction, national
1 8 pollutant discharge elimination system, and animal feeding
1 9 operation permits, including for salaries, support,
1 10 maintenance, and miscellaneous purposes:

1 12 EXPLANATION
1 13 This bill appropriates funds from the rebuild Iowa
1 14 infrastructure fund to the department of natural resources to
1 15 increase the number of wastewater construction, national
1 16 pollutant discharge elimination system, and animal feeding
1 17 operation permits.
