1 1 Section 1. There is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa
1 2 infrastructure fund to the department of natural resources for
1 3 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30,
1 4 2001, the following amount, or so much thereof as is
1 5 necessary, to be used for the purpose designated,
1 6 notwithstanding section 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph "c":
1 7 To identify an effective and efficient method of developing
1 8 total maximum daily loads that lead to actual water quality
1 9 improvements:

1 11 EXPLANATION
1 12 This bill makes an appropriation from the rebuild Iowa
1 13 infrastructure fund to the department of natural resources to
1 14 identify an effective and efficient method of developing total
1 15 maximum daily loads that improve water quality.
