1 1 Section. 1. LONG-TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN FUNDING. There is
1 2 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
1 3 department of elder affairs for the fiscal year beginning July
1 4 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, the following amount, or so
1 5 much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purpose
1 6 designated:
1 7 For the hiring of a third long-term care ombudsman:
1 8 .................................................. $ 70,000
1 9 EXPLANATION
1 10 This bill provides an appropriation of $70,000 from the
1 11 general fund of the state to the department of elder affairs
1 12 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June
1 13 30, 2001, to facilitate the hiring of a third long-term care
1 14 ombudsman.
