1 1 Section 1. Section 461A.3, Code 1999, is amended by adding
1 2 the following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 3 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. The commission shall provide
1 4 that each state park shall have the same number of full-time
1 5 officers assigned to enforce state laws and rules of the
1 6 department on and after January 1, 2001, that were assigned to
1 7 the state park on January 1, 1999.

1 9 EXPLANATION
1 10 This bill provides that the state conservation commission
1 11 shall provide that each state park shall have the same number
1 12 of full-time officers assigned to enforce state laws and rules
1 13 of the department on and after January 1, 2001, that were
1 14 assigned to the state park on January 1, 1999.
