PAG LIN 1 1 Section 1. Section 252D.17, subsection 6, Code 1999, is 1 2 amended to read as follows: 1 3 6. The payor may combine amounts withheld from the 1 4 obligors' income in a single payment to the clerk of the 1 5 district court or to the collection services center, as 1 6 appropriate. Whether combined or separate, payments shall be 1 7 identified by the name of the obligor, account number, amount, 1 8 and, until October 1, 1999,the date withheld. If payments 1 9 for multiple obligors are combined, the portion of the payment 1 10 attributable to each obligor shall be specifically identified. 1 11 EXPLANATION 1 12 This bill removes the date, October 1, 1999, as the last 1 13 date on which a payor of income was required to include the 1 14 date income was withheld from a child support obligor. This 1 15 amendment would continue the practice of including the date 1 16 that income was withheld in the identification of the child 1 17 support payments made by payors of income. 1 18 LSB 5186SS 78 1 19 pf/cf/24
