1 1 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. ___
1 2 BY DRAKE
1 3 A Senate Concurrent Resolution relating to a
1 4 biennial memorial session.
1 5 WHEREAS, it has been the custom to hold a biennial
1 6 memorial session in recognition of the public service
1 7 of departed members of the General Assembly; and
1 8 WHEREAS, both the Senate and the House of
1 9 Representatives desire to participate in such an
1 10 observance; NOW THEREFORE,
1 11 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE, THE HOUSE OF
1 12 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, That an evening session of
1 13 the Seventy-eighth General Assembly be held in the
1 14 Senate Chamber on Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at 7:00
1 15 p.m.
1 16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a joint committee of
1 17 eight members be appointed, four from the Senate to be
1 18 appointed by the President of the Senate, and four
1 19 from the House of Representatives to be appointed by
1 20 the Speaker of the House of Representatives, to make
1 21 suitable arrangements for a joint memorial session.
