Page 27, line 30, by inserting after the 2 8 figure "2002." the following: "If the amount of 2 9 grants awarded in a fiscal year is less than the 2 10 maximum amount provided for grants for that fiscal 2 11 year in this subsection, the amount of the difference 2 12 shall be carried forward to subsequent fiscal years 2 13 for purposes of providing grants under the program and 2 14 the maximum amount of grants for each fiscal year, as 2 15 provided in this subsection, shall be adjusted 2 16 accordingly." 2 17 #9. Page 28, by inserting after line 29 the 2 18 following: 2 19 "9. If a school district receives financial 2 20 assistance under the vision Iowa program created under 2 21 section 15F.302 pursuant to a joint application 2 22 submitted under section 15F.302, subsection 3, the 2 23 school district shall not be eligible to receive 2 24 financial assistance under the school infrastructure 2 25 program." 2 26 #10. Page 28, by inserting after line 29 the 2 27 following: 2 28 "9. A school district located in whole or in part 2 29 in a county which has imposed the maximum rate of 2 30 sales and services tax for school infrastructure 2 31 pursuant to section 422E.2 and has sales and services 2 32 tax for school infrastructure revenue of more than the 2 33 statewide average of sales tax capacity per pupil, as 2 34 defined in section 292.1, subsection 8, shall not be 2 35 eligible for financial assistance under the program. 2 36 For purposes of this subsection, an individual school 2 37 district's sales tax capacity per pupil is the 2 38 estimated total sales and services tax for 2 39 infrastructure revenue to be actually received by the 2 40 school district divided by the school district's 2 41 enrollment as specified in section 292.1, subsection 2 42 8." 2 43 #11.
