  1  1    Amend House File 2555, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 9, by inserting after line 4 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "d.  A POS provider that has negotiated a
  1  6 reimbursement rate increase with a host county as of
  1  7 July 1, 2000, has the option of exemption from the
  1  8 provisions of this section.  Nothing in this section
  1  9 precludes a county from increasing reimbursement rates
  1 10 of POS providers that do not meet the criteria of this
  1 11 section or from increasing the rates by an amount that
  1 12 is greater than that specified in this section."
