1 3 #1. Page 1, by striking line 38 through 41 and
1 4 inserting the following:
1 5 "# . Page 20, by striking lines 19 and 20 and
1 6 inserting the following: "be subject to tax at the
1 7 rate of forty-four percent of the wholesale sales
1 8 price of the moist snuff. The tax on tobacco
1 9 products, excluding little cigars,".

1 11 except moist snuff,".
1 12 # . Page 20, line 28, by inserting after the
1 13 word "products" the following: ", except that the
1 14 rate of tax on moist snuff is forty-four percent of
1 15 the cost of the moist snuff".

1 17 21, line 17, and inserting the following:
1 18 "Sec. 42. Section 453A.43, subsection 2, paragraph
1 19 b, Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
