1 2 #1. Page 1, lines 6 and 7, by striking the words
1 3 "Ten Commandments" and inserting the following:
1 4 "Scout Law".
1 5 #2. Page 1, line 17, by striking the words "Ten
1 6 Commandments contain" and inserting the following:
1 7 "Scout Law contains".
1 8 #3. Page 1, lines 19 and 20, by striking the words
1 9 "and the United States" and inserting the following:
1 10 ", the United States, and in the world".
1 11 #4. Page 1, line 24, by inserting after the word
1 12 "states" the following: ", and this power is deemed
1 13 by the Iowa Senate to include the display of the Scout
1 14 Law".
1 15 #5. Page 1, by striking lines 27 and 28 and
1 16 inserting the following: "ability to behave in a
1 17 manner that is consistent with the Scout Law; and
1 18 WHEREAS, THE Iowa Senate includes members who are
1 19 Eagle Scout award recipients and hold the tenets of
1 20 the Scout Law in high regard; NOW THEREFORE,".
1 21 #6. Page 1, line 29, by striking the words "Ten
1 22 Commandments" and inserting the following: "Scout
1 23 Law".
