  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 13 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 124.204, subsection 4, Code
  1  6 1999, is amended by adding the following new
  1  7 paragraphs:
  1  8    NEW PARAGRAPH.  ad.  Alpha-ethyltryptamine.  Some
  1  9 trade or other names:  etryptamine; Monase; a-ethyl-
  1 10 1H-indole-3-ethanamine; 3-(2-aminobutyl)indole; alpha-
  1 11 ET; and AET.

  1 28    Sec.    .  Section 124.204, subsection 9,
  1 29 paragraphs c, d, and e, Code 1999, are amended by
  1 30 striking the paragraphs.
  1 31    Sec.    .  Section 124.206, subsection 2, paragraph
  1 32 a, unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 1999, is amended to
  1 33 read as follows:
  1 34    Opium and opiate, and any salt, compound,
  1 35 derivative, or preparation of opium or opiate,
  1 36 excluding apomorphine, dextrophan thebaine-derived
  1 37 butorphanol, dextrorphan, nalbuphine, nalmefene,
  1 38 naloxone, and naltrexone, and their respective salts,
  1 39 but including the following:
  1 40    Sec.    .  Section 124.206, subsection 3, Code
  1 41 1999, is amended by adding the following new
  1 42 paragraph:
  1 43    NEW PARAGRAPH.  aa.  Remifentanil.
  1 44    Sec.    .  Section 124.206, subsection 7, paragraph
  1 45 b, Code 1999, is amended by striking the paragraph.
  1 46    Sec.    .  Section 124.208, subsection 3, Code
  1 47 1999, is amended by adding the following new
  1 48 paragraph:
  1 49    NEW PARAGRAPH.  l.  Ketamine, its salts, isomers,
  1 50 and salts of isomers.  Some other names for ketamine:
  2  1 (+-)-2-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)-cyclohexanone.
  2  2    Sec.    .  Section 124.208, subsection 6,
  2  3 paragraphs b, e, and i, Code 1999, are amended to read
  2  4 as follows:
  2  5    b.  Chlorotestosterone (4-chlortestosterone).
  2  6    e.  Dihydrotestosterone (4-dihydrotestosterone).
  2  7    i.  Formobulone Formebulone (formebolone).
  2  8    Sec.    .  Section 124.208, Code 1999, is amended
  2  9 by adding the following new subsection:
  2 10    NEW SUBSECTION.  8.  HALLUCINOGENIC SUBSTANCES.
  2 11 Dronabinol (synthetic) in sesame oil and encapsulated
  2 12 in a soft gelatin capsule in a United States Food and
  2 13 Drug Administration approved product.  Some other
  2 14 names for dronabinol:  (6aR-trans)-6a, 7, 8, 10a-
  2 15 tetrahydro-6, 6, 9-trimethyl-3-pentyl-6H-dibenzo [b,d]
  2 16 pyran-1-ol, or (-)-delta-9-(trans)-
  2 17 tetrahydrocannabinol.
  2 18    Sec.    .  Section 124.210, subsection 2, paragraph
  2 19 b, Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
  2 20    b.  Dextropropoxyphene (alpha-(+)-4-
  2 21 dimethylamindiphendiphenyl-3-methyl-2-
  2 22 propionoxybutane) (alpha-(+)-4-dimethylamino-1,2-
  2 23 diphenyl-3-methyl-2-propionoxybutane).
  2 24    Sec.    .  Section 124.210, subsection 3, Code
  2 25 1999, is amended by adding the following new
  2 26 paragraph:

  3 15 inserting the following:
  3 16    "Sec.    .  Section 331.605, subsection 6, Code
  3 17 Supplement 1999, is amended to read as follows:
  3 18    6.  For filing an application for the license to
  3 19 marry, thirty thirty-five dollars, which includes
  3 20 payment for one certified copy of the original
  3 21 certificate of marriage, to be issued following filing
  3 22 of the original certificate of marriage, four dollars
  3 23 of which shall be retained by the county pursuant to
  3 24 subsection 5.  For issuing an application for an order
  3 25 of the district court authorizing the validation of a
  3 26 license to marry before the expiration of three days
  3 27 from the date of issuance of the license, five
  3 28 dollars.  The district court shall authorize the early
  3 29 validation of a marriage license without the payment
  3 30 of any fees imposed in this subsection upon showing
  3 31 that the applicant is unable to pay the fees."
  3 32    #5.  Page 10, by striking line 4 and inserting the
  3 33 following:  "fifteen days to the county registrar, who
  3 34 issued the".
  3 35    #6.  Page 10, by striking lines 8 through 14, and
  3 36 inserting the following:
  3 37    "Following receipt of the original certificate of
  3 38 marriage pursuant to section 144.36, the county
  3 39 registrar shall issue a certified copy of the original
  3 40 certificate of marriage to the parties to the
  3 41 marriage."
  3 42    #7.  Page 10, line 28, by inserting after the word
  3 43 "investigation." the following:  "However, the medical
  3 44 examiner shall not conduct any activity pursuant to
  3 45 this subsection, relating to a homicide or other
  3 46 criminally suspicious death, without coordinating such
  3 47 activity with the county medical examiner, and without
  3 48 obtaining approval of the investigating law
  3 49 enforcement agency, the county attorney, or any other
  3 50 prosecutorial or law enforcement agency of the
  4  1 jurisdiction to conduct such activity."
  4  2    #8.  Page 10, line 31, by striking the word "shall"
  4  3 and inserting the following:  "to".
  4  4    #9.  By striking page 10, line 35, through page 11,
  4  5 line 5.
  4  6    #10.  Page 11, by inserting after line 20, the
  4  7 following:
  4  8    "Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE.  The sections of this
  4  9 Act amending section 331.605, subsection 6, and
  4 10 enacting section 595.16A, take effect January 1,
  4 11 2001."
  4 12    #11.  Title page, line 3, by inserting after the
  4 13 word "department" the following:  "and providing an
  4 14 effective date".
  4 15    #12.  By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
  4 16 and correcting internal references as necessary.
