1 1 Amend Senate File 2314 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, lines 9 and 10 by striking the words
1 3 "contagious or infectious".
1 4 #2. Page 11, by striking lines 24 through 29 and
1 5 inserting the following:
1 6 "A person who knowingly exposes another to a
1 7 communicable disease or who knowingly subjects another
1 8 to a child or other legally incapacitated person who
1 9 has contracted a communicable disease, with the intent
1 10 that another person contract the communicable disease,
1 11 shall be liable for all resulting damages and shall be
1 12 punished as provided in this chapter."
1 13 #3. By striking page 19, line 28, through page 20,
1 14 line 11, and inserting the following:
1 15 "The department shall adopt rules which incorporate
1 16 the prenatal guidelines established by the centers for
1 17 disease control and prevention of the United States
1 18 department of health and human services as the state
1 19 guidelines for prenatal testing and care relative to
1 20 infectious disease."
1 21 #4. Page 20, by striking lines 12 through 21.
1 22 #5. By renumbering as necessary.
