  1  1    Amend House File 769, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 19, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "habitation" the following:  "or until December 31,
  1  5 2004, whichever date occurs the earlier.  Following
  1  6 that date, the apartment shall be classified as
  1  7 required under section 499B.11, subsection 1".
  1  8    #2.  Page 1, line 31, by inserting after the word
  1  9 "habitation" the following:  "or until December 31,
  1 10 2004, whichever date occurs the earlier.  Following
  1 11 that date, the apartment shall be classified as
