1 7 "Sec. . Section 49.88, Code 1999, is amended to
1 8 read as follows:
1 9 49.88 LIMITATION ON PERSONS IN BOOTH AND TIME FOR
1 10 VOTING.
1 11 No more than one person shall be allowed to occupy
1 12 any voting booth at any time. No person shall occupy
1 13 such booth for more than three minutes to cast a vote.
1 14 Nothing in this section shall prohibit assistance to
1 15 voters under section 49.90. Nothing in this section
1 16 shall prohibit a voter from taking the voter's minor
1 17 children into the voting booth with the voter.""
