  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 10, by striking the word and

  1  7 figure "March 15" and inserting the following:  "April
  1  8 30".
  1  9    #3.  Page 1, lines 18 and 19, by striking the word
  1 10 and figure "March 15" and inserting the following:

  1 12    #4.  Page 1, line 20, by striking the word and
  1 13 figure "March 15" and inserting the following:  "April
  1 14 30".
  1 15    #5.  By striking page 1, line 30, through page 2,
  1 16 line 1, and inserting the following:  "However, if
  1 17 public employees represented by the employee
  1 18 organization are teachers licensed under chapter 272,
  1 19 and the public employer is a school district or area
  1 20 education agency, the agreement shall provide for
  1 21 implementation of impasse procedures not later than
  1 22 one hundred twenty days prior to May 31 April 30 of
  1 23 the year when the collective bargaining agreement is
  1 24 to become effective.  If the public employer is a
  1 25 community".
  1 26    #6.  Page 2, by striking lines 15 through 20 and
  1 27 inserting the following:  "budget submission date, or
  1 28 one hundred twenty days prior to May 31 April 30 of
  1 29 the year when the collective bargaining agreement is
  1 30 to become effective if public employees represented by
  1 31 the employee organization are teachers licensed under
  1 32 chapter 272 and the public employer is a school
  1 33 district or area education agency, the board shall,
  1 34 upon the request of either party,".
  1 35    #7.  Page 4, by inserting after line 33 the
  1 36 following:
  1 37    "Sec.    .  Section 275.29, Code 1999, is amended
  1 38 to read as follows:
  1 39    275.29  DIVISION OF ASSETS AND LIABILITIES AFTER
  1 40 REORGANIZATION.
  1 41    Between July 1 and July 20, the board of directors
  1 42 of the newly formed school district shall meet with
  1 43 the boards of the school districts affected by the
  1 44 organization of the new school corporation, including
  1 45 the boards of districts receiving territory of the
  1 46 school districts affected, for the purpose of reaching
  1 47 joint agreement on an equitable division of the assets
  1 48 of the several school corporations or parts of school
  1 49 corporations and an equitable distribution of the
  1 50 liabilities of the affected corporations or parts of
  2  1 corporations.  In addition, if outstanding bonds are
  2  2 in existence in any district, the initial board of
  2  3 directors of the newly formed school district shall
  2  4 meet with the boards of all school districts affected
  2  5 prior to April March 15 prior to the school year the
  2  6 reorganization is effective to determine the
  2  7 distribution of the bonded indebtedness between the
  2  8 districts so that the newly formed district may
  2  9 certify its budget under the procedures specified in
  2 10 chapter 24.  The boards shall consider the mandatory
  2 11 levy required in section 76.2 and shall assure the
  2 12 satisfaction of outstanding obligations of each
  2 13 affected school corporation.  If the petition includes
  2 14 plans for the distribution of the bonded indebtedness,
  2 15 the exclusion of territory from the reorganized
  2 16 district does not require action pursuant to this
  2 17 section."

  2 21 notice of teacher termination".
