1 2 #1. Page 1, line 3, by striking the word "The" and
1 3 inserting the following: "A bank shall permit a
1 4 person named in and authorized by a court order to
1 5 open, examine, and remove the contents of a safe
1 6 deposit box located at the bank. If a court order has
1 7 not been delivered to the bank, the".
1 8 #2. Page 1, by inserting after line 14 the
1 9 following:
1 10 "d. A person named as an executor in a copy of a
1 11 purported will produced by the person, provided such
1 12 access shall be limited to the removal of a purported
1 13 will, and no other contents shall be removed."
1 14 #3. Page 1, line 17, by striking the words "a
1 15 certificate" and inserting the following: "an
1 16 affidavit".
1 17 #4. Page 1, line 19, by striking the word
1 18 "certificate" and inserting the following:
1 19 "affidavit".
1 20 #5. Page 1, by striking lines 24 and 25 and
1 21 inserting the following:
1 22 "1A. A person removing any contents of a safe
1 23 deposit box pursuant to subsection 1 shall deliver any
1 24 writing purported to be a will of the decedent to the
1 25 court having jurisdiction over the decedent's estate,
1 26 and shall deliver any document purported to be an
1 27 insurance policy on the life of the decedent to the
1 28 beneficiary named in such policy."
1 29 #6. Page 2, line 17, by inserting after the word
1 30 "lessee" the following: ", or the court having
1 31 jurisdiction over the testator's estate".
