1 1 Amend Senate File 376 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 5, by inserting before line 1 the
1 3 following: "appropriated by the general assembly to
1 4 the department of public safety for the position of
1 5 state medical examiner, and for the state medical
1 6 examiner's office, for the fiscal year beginning July
1 7 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999, which remain
1 8 unobligated shall be transferred to the department of
1 9 public health on the effective date of this Act.
1 10 Funds".
1 11 #2. Page 5, by inserting after line 5 the
1 12 following:
1 13 "Sec. . EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act, being deemed
1 14 of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
1 15 #3. Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
1 16 word "examiner" the following: ", making an
1 17 appropriation, and providing an effective date".
1 18 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
