1 2 #1. Page 3, by inserting after line 1 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . NEW SECTION. 321.253C DIRECTIONAL
1 5 SIGNS RELATING TO NONPROFIT HOSPITALS.
1 6 1. The department shall place and maintain
1 7 directional signs upon primary highways which provide
1 8 information about nonprofit hospitals licensed under
1 9 chapter 135B upon request of such a nonprofit
1 10 hospital. The signs shall conform to the manual of
1 11 uniform traffic devices.
1 12 2. Upon request by a city or county in which a
1 13 nonprofit hospital licensed under chapter 135B is
1 14 located, the department shall distribute a directional
1 15 sign as provided in this section to the city or county
1 16 for erection upon roads or streets within their
1 17 jurisdictions.
1 18 3. The department shall not erect, maintain, or
1 19 distribute a directional sign about a nonprofit
1 20 hospital licensed under chapter 135B if the department
1 21 receives an objection from the nonprofit hospital."
1 22 #2. Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
1 23 word "places" the following: "and for nonprofit
1 24 hospitals".
1 25 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
