1 1 Section 1. Section 553.12, unnumbered paragraph 1, Code
1 2 1999, is amended to read as follows:
1 3 The state or a person who is directly or indirectly injured
1 4 or threatened with injury by conduct prohibited under this
1 5 chapter may bring suit to:
1 6 EXPLANATION
1 7 This bill amends Code section 553.12, pertaining to
1 8 remedies for violations of the Iowa competition law, to make
1 9 such remedies available to persons both directly and
1 10 indirectly injured, or threatened with injury by the
1 11 anticompetitive practices prohibited under Code chapter 553.
