1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 234.29 ADOLESCENT PREGNANCY
1 2 PREVENTION GRANTS.
1 3 The criteria used by the department of human services in
1 4 awarding of adolescent pregnancy prevention grants shall give
1 5 fifty percent credit to the relative demonstrated need for the
1 6 prevention service among all of the grant proposals
1 7 considered.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill relates to adolescent pregnancy prevention grant
1 10 award criteria used by the department of human services.
1 11 New Code section 234.29 requires the criteria used by the
1 12 department in the awarding of the grants to give 50 percent
1 13 credit to the relative demonstrated need for the prevention
1 14 service under a grant proposal among all of the grant
1 15 proposals considered.
