1 1 Section 1. There is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa
1 2 infrastructure fund to the department of agriculture and land
1 3 stewardship for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and
1 4 ending June 30, 2001, the following amount, or so much thereof
1 5 as is necessary, to be used for the purpose designated,
1 6 notwithstanding section 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph "c":
1 7 To supplement the appropriation in 1999 Iowa Acts, chapter
1 8 204, section 15, subsection 4, for the Iowa watershed
1 9 protection program to reduce soil erosion, protect water
1 10 quality, and provide flood control:

1 12 EXPLANATION
1 13 This bill appropriates funds from the rebuild Iowa
1 14 infrastructure fund to the department of agriculture and land
1 15 stewardship for the Iowa watershed protection program to
1 16 reduce soil erosion, protect water quality, and provide flood
1 17 control.
