  1  4 RELATING TO THE EXCEPTIONS TO THE REQUIREMENT OF HOLDING A
  1  5    HEARING IN A DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE ACTION.

  1  7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:

  1  9    Section 1.  Section 598.8, subsection 2, paragraph a,
  1 10 subparagraph (4), Code 1999, is amended by striking the
  1 11 subparagraph.
  1 12    Sec. 2.  Section 598.8, subsection 2, paragraph b,
  1 13 subparagraph (3), Code 1999, is amended by striking the
  1 14 subparagraph.
