1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 15.115 INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION
1 2 OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
1 3 The department shall develop and implement an international
1 4 promotional and marketing strategy designed to increase
1 5 international awareness of postsecondary educational
1 6 opportunities available in Iowa at regents institutions,
1 7 community colleges, and accredited private institutions as
1 8 defined in section 261.9.
1 9 EXPLANATION
1 10 This bill provides that the department of economic
1 11 development shall develop and implement a promotional and
1 12 marketing strategy designed to increase international
1 13 awareness of postsecondary educational opportunities available
1 14 in Iowa at regents institutions, community colleges, and
1 15 accredited private institutions as defined in section 261.9.
