  1  1    Section 1.  Section 537.3310, subsection 5, Code 1999, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    5.  Subsections 1 through 4 do not apply to a the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    a.  A membership camping contract which is subject to the
  1  6 requirements of chapter 557B.
  1  7    b.  A contract for wireless communications service which is
  1  8 effective for a period of no more than twenty-four months in
  1  9 duration.
  1 10    For purposes of this subsection, "wireless communications
  1 11 service" means as defined in section 34A.7A, subsection 4.
  1 12 However, this subsection shall not be interpreted as
  1 13 prohibiting a consumer from canceling a contract where the
  1 14 terms of the agreement entered into have not been met by the
  1 15 provider of the wireless communications service.
