  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-9097, to Senate File 2433,
  1  2 as passed by the Senate, as follows:  
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 21 through 27 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 5, line 8, by inserting after the
  1  6 figure "2001." the following:  "However, the amount to
  1  7 be deposited in the general fund pursuant to this
  1  8 unnumbered paragraph shall be reduced by an amount
  1  9 equal to the amount of revenue received by the state
  1 10 for deposit in the general fund of the state that
  1 11 exceeds the most recent estimate of the revenue
  1 12 estimating conference created in section 8.22A for the
  1 13 fiscal year beginning July 1, 1999, and ending June
  1 14 30, 2000.  The amount of the reduction in revenue to
  1 15 be deposited in the general fund as determined under
  1 16 this unnumbered paragraph shall be deposited in the
  1 17 pooled technology account.""
  1 18    #2.  Page 3, line 16, by inserting after the word
  1 19 "services." the following:
  1 20    "(24)  For budget system redesign to be completed
  1 21 by the department of management.
  1 22    (25)  The development and implementation of
  1 23 information technology security by the division of
  1 24 information technology services of the department of
  1 25 general services."
  1 26    #3.  Page 3, line 32, by striking the words "for a"
  1 27 and inserting the following:  "in response to a high
  1 28 risk".
  1 29    #4.  Page 3, line 44, by inserting after the word
  1 30 "certificate." the follows:  "No more than one hundred
  1 31 thousand dollars per site may be used for the costs of
  1 32 a corrective action under this paragraph.  This
  1 33 paragraph does not confer a legal right on an owner or
  1 34 operator of petroleum-contaminated property or on any
  1 35 other person to receive benefits under this
  1 36 paragraph."
  1 37    #5.  Page 4, line 19, by inserting after the word
  1 38 "agencies" the following:  "and to information
  1 39 technology development by participating agencies".
  1 40    #6.  Page 4, line 24, by inserting after the word
  1 41 "procurement" the following:  "and development".

  1 50 "procure" the following:  "or develop".

  2  3    #12.  Page 5, line 4, by striking the word
  2  4 "acquisitions" and inserting the following:
  2  5 "acquisitions procurements or development".
  2  6    #13.  Page 5, by inserting after line 4 the
  2  7 following:
  2  8    "   .  Section 14B.108, subsection 2, paragraph a,
  2  9 as enacted by 2000 Iowa Acts, Senate File 2395, is
  2 10 amended to read as follows:
  2 11    a.  Standards established by the council, unless
  2 12 waived pursuant to section 14B.104, shall apply to all
  2 13 information technology procurements for participating
  2 14 agencies and to all information technology development
  2 15 by participating agencies."
