  1  1    Amend House File 2559 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 1 through 23, and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  Section 422.45, Code Supplement 1999,
  1  5 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  26A.  The gross receipts from the
  1  7 sale of fuel used in machinery or equipment which is
  1  8 used to dry, remove moisture from, ventilate, or
  1  9 aerate harvested grain as defined in section 203.1.
  1 10    Sec. 2.  REFUNDS.  Refunds of taxes, interest, or
  1 11 penalties which arise from claims resulting from the
  1 12 enactment of section 422.45, subsection 26A, as
  1 13 provided in this".
  1 14    #2.  Title page, line 1, by striking the words
  1 15 "equipment and".
