1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8948, to Senate File 2447,
1 2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 5 through 10 and
1 5 inserting the following:
1 6 ""9. A school district located in whole or in part
1 7 in a county which has imposed the maximum rate of
1 8 sales and services tax for school infrastructure
1 9 pursuant to section 422E.2 and has sales and services
1 10 tax for school infrastructure revenue of more than the
1 11 statewide average of sales tax capacity per pupil, as
1 12 defined in section 292.1, subsection 8, shall not be
1 13 eligible for financial assistance under the program.
1 14 For purposes of this subsection, an individual school
1 15 district's sales tax capacity per pupil is the
1 16 estimated total sales and services tax for
1 17 infrastructure revenue to be actually received by the
1 18 school district divided by the school district's
1 19 enrollment as specified in section 292.1, subsection
1 20 8.""
