1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8948, to Senate File 2447,
1 2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 5 through 10 and
1 5 inserting the following:
1 6 "9. A school district located in whole or in part
1 7 in a county which has imposed a sales and services tax
1 8 for school infrastructure pursuant to section 422E.2
1 9 and has sales and services tax for school
1 10 infrastructure revenue of more than the statewide
1 11 average of sales tax capacity per pupil, as defined in
1 12 section 292.1, subsection 8, shall not be eligible for
1 13 financial assistance under the program. For purposes
1 14 of this subsection, an individual school district's
1 15 sales tax capacity per pupil is the estimated total
1 16 sales and services tax for infrastructure revenue
1 17 actually received by the school district divided by
1 18 the school district's enrollment as specified in
1 19 section 292.1, subsection 8.""
