1 2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
1 3 #1. Page 19, by inserting after line 1, the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. __. Section 483A.24, Code Supplement 1999,
1 6 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 7 NEW SUBSECTION. 2A. A person who resides out of
1 8 state, but who is otherwise an owner or that person's
1 9 tenant, may hunt deer upon the land by obtaining the
1 10 same special license required by an owner of land who
1 11 resides on the land. However, in order to obtain the
1 12 special license, the person must provide documentation
1 13 to the department establishing that the person who
1 14 resides out of state owns the land. If the person is
1 15 a tenant, the person must also provide documentation
1 16 establishing the tenancy."
1 17 #2. By renumbering as necessary.
