1 3 #1. Page 17, by inserting after line 5 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . CHILDHOOD LEAD POISONING PREVENTION
1 6 PROGRAM AND SUPPLEMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAM
1 7 FUNDING. For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000,
1 8 and ending June 30, 2001, from the tax revenue
1 9 received by the state racing and gaming commission
1 10 pursuant to section 99D.15, subsections 1, 3, and 4,
1 11 an amount equal to three-tenths of one percent of the
1 12 gross sum wagered by the pari-mutuel method is
1 13 appropriated to the Iowa department of public health.
1 14 Of the moneys appropriated pursuant to this section,
1 15 not more than $50,000 shall be used to supplement
1 16 amounts otherwise budgeted for the childhood lead
1 17 poisoning prevention program. Remaining moneys
1 18 appropriated pursuant to this section shall be used
1 19 for costs associated with the child fatality review
1 20 committee provisions under section 135.43, as enacted
1 21 by 2000 Iowa Acts, House File 2377, the expansion of
1 22 the age range for child death case review provisions
1 23 as enacted under 2000 Iowa Acts, House File 2365, and
1 24 the Iowa domestic abuse death review team provisions
1 25 as enacted under 2000 Iowa Acts, House File 2362."
