1 3 #1. Page 29, line 25, by striking the word "It"
1 4 and inserting the following:
1 5 "a. It".
1 6 #2. Page 29, by inserting after line 32, the
1 7 following:
1 8 "b. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary
1 9 under chapter 255, a person placed at the Iowa
1 10 juvenile home at Toledo shall be provided medical
1 11 services and treatment at a local clinic if the
1 12 medical services and treatment available are provided
1 13 by staff of the university of Iowa hospitals and
1 14 clinics and the university of Iowa hospitals and
1 15 clinics shall not charge the Iowa juvenile home at
1 16 Toledo for the services and treatment. For persons
1 17 placed at the Iowa juvenile home at Toledo who are
1 18 provided medical services and treatment at such a
1 19 local clinic, the university of Iowa hospitals and
1 20 clinics shall transfer funds appropriated to the
1 21 university hospitals for indigent patient care in an
1 22 amount sufficient to cover the total cost of the
1 23 medical services and treatment provided."
